OP, you don't know much about Karkat, do you? He whines all the time.

Also, you're caring way too much about Homestuck. Everything in it is intended to be a joke. It's ok. Laugh at the crab sandwich. Then laugh at the group dropping Terezi's campaign. It's funny.

true, he whines all the time, but even I thought this was too much when taken seriously. giving him a joke character won't make him less annoying, or improve his behaviour when he complained of ego centric insecurities.

if I was DM I wouldn't play at all with somebody who doesn't compromise
