Re: What makes you skip a fic?

- Misspellings in the summary.
- Using characters' nicknames in the tags/summary instead of their full names. Even worse if it's a cutesy nickname the writer thought up themselves.
- Any kind of emoticon or txt spk.
- Gushing over non-con in the summary/tags like it's candy or something.
- Pairings or tropes that particularly attract badfic.

In the fandom I'm in right now, it's rape and het that attracts the worst writers. Sorry, rape and het writers, but I've had too many bad experiences. I will not click through to your fics, no matter how good they are, unless they are recced to me first, and even then probably not.
