MARTY MCFLY AND THE DOC
just. Marty and the Doc. It's everything I love. Mentor&student dynamics, sci-fi, steampunk, and general craziness. Also, that hug was a ridiculously heartwarming thing.

Cable and Deadpool. If they were only friends, that is...

Also, Mike and Chuck from Motorcity.

+1 for Cable and Deadpool. They were really funny, even Nate, and weirdly sweet.

Cable/Deadpool 5ever (it makes me sad that Spideypool has become the most popular Deadpool pairing at this point. WHY)

Along these same lines, I'll also go with Deadpool and Bullseye as well. Their relationship is...strangely adorable in the most fucked up way possible, although I'm not sure if friends is quite the right word since we're talking about, you know, Bullseye of all people. Cable and Deadpool are the best buddy team-up of all time.

Uh...All of them? It sort of depends on how extremely you define "odd couple" though.

Also Kirk and Spock, Picard and Data, Worf and Troi (before they slightly screwed that up by making them date for a while), Starsky and Hutch, The Doctor and most of his companions other than Romana, the main cast of Guardians of the Galaxy, Woody and Buzz, Jack Donaghy and Liz Lemon, Frasier Crane and Roz Doyle, Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood, Toby and Sam from The West Wing, and about a gajillion others I'm totally forgetting.

Hannibal and Will? Their interactions are gold, but we're talking about friendship here.

Ditto on Kirk and Spock and Starsky and Hutch, but I had overlooked Woody and Buzz and feel bad about it. Those two are great.

Oh, wait, I forgot to include Spock and McCoy. And Gandalf and Bilbo. And Huckleberry Finn and Jim (*facepalm*) That's kind of a big one! Also Hawkeye and Charles in the last couple seasons of MASH. And Superman and Batman, Lilo and Stitch (if that counts), and Jack and Teal'c. And since the actual secret reminded me, Bagheera and Baloo from The Jungle Book. The original book -- I don't remember much about the Disney movie except that awesome monkey king song.

Also, I don't know if Quark and Odo qualify as "friends" but whatever they were, they were great.

Though neither Quark nor Odo would actually come out and admit it, imo their actions have proved more than once that they are friends.

A few more: Holmes and Watson, House and Wilson, Gojyo and Hakkai, Kotetsu and Barnaby, Hardison and Eliot, Sam and Gene, Steve and Danny, and SpongeBob and Squidward. God, there are so many, I can't keep up.

Giles and Spike.

Andy Bellefleur and Jason Stackhouse. I swear I could watch those two in a show all on their own.

Toph and Katara, Zuko and Aang, Elphaba and Glinda, Spock and McCoy, Spock and Kirk.

Odo and Quark. Bashir and Garak.
