My dad goes crazy for the NFL, so naturally I hate it, especially since I have to share tv time now with my family. Usually I can watch my soccer games in peace but NFL season means I have to share tv time with my brothers when they want to watch an NFL game.

...because I have to share tv with my brothers? It is annoying. A soccer game is 45 minutes of first half, about 15-20 minutes of commercial, and then another 45 mintues of second half. NFL is like five minutes game play, five minutes commercial, repeat. I just prefer soccer more.
I mean, I could just use the computer to stream the games I want to watch but I don't have a couch to sit on. LOL

And I didn't want to elaborate but my dad heavily (like, really, really heavily) gambles on NFL games, and I've been aware of this since I was a kid. I really don't like my dad gambling, and I know it worries my mom a lot. I guess that always hindered my enjoyment on this sport in particular.

When you immediately get that unnecessarily hostile, it's so obvious the NFL thing is an excuse for Redskins wank, which is what you really want to talk about. Sad.

My family is more into college football so those are most the games I'll be watching. And I don't mind people who are obsessed with football. I am obsessed with many things that I like sharing.

generally, with college football there are just soooooo many games to keep up on and it's great because I can flip through them all so quickly. I love college football.

My family (and I by default) generally only follow OSU. I'll not watch any games until the playoffs. Or at least watch with any excitement.

The Vikings handed the Rams their asses and I am cautiously optimistic for what this means for the rest of the season.

I mean, it's the Vikes, so we'll piss it all away somehow, but maybe this year that can happen in the playoffs?

I wouldn't read too much into it, the Rams are ass. The bigger reason to be hopeful if you're a Vikings fan is that the Packers and Bears both lost. And the Bears lost to the freaking Bills.
