Re: What makes you skip a fic?

For the most part I'll give anything a go but I've got a few straight-up deal-breakers:

- A truly ridiculous number of commentary tags, I can put up with a few but too many and I'm not clicking.
- Coffee-shop and High-school AU's.
- A background ship that I don't like(this doesn't happen that often tbh as I can roll with almost any background pair, but there are a few pairs in my fandoms where I'm just, nope, not reading that).
- This one is fandom specific but Dumb!Thor, or any indication in the tags/summary that the author thinks he's a brainless meat-head(this can crop up in fic anyway so if someone preemptively mentions it, well I won't be reading).
- Really bad grammar/spelling in the summary, not like the odd word but nearly every one.

And there are a few things that are mood-dependent, like gender-bends and most AU's.
