- Civilians were killed, included hundreds of children
- When asked what she thought about the dead civilians, which included woman and children, she said she didn't care, that they deserved it and anybody who died did so because they were too stupid to get away.

I don't need to try anything, she makes herself look like shit without help. Never said she joked, in fact she was very serious about it. She said the civilians deserved to die when asked what she thought about the dead woman AND CHILDREN.

You could say that about any war. It is a sad fact that if the leaders of any particular country attack another country, the latter will fight back and sometimes innocent civilians, including children, will be killed. This is awful but right now, it's the way war happens.

This is exacerbated by two facts: Palestinians elected a government who is philosophically committed to war with Israel, plus that government hides behind their civilians. Yes, the Palestinians who elected Hamas deserve some blame for elected their morally bankrupt leaders. Who don't even live in Hamas so they don't even pay the price.

There's a pretty big difference between saying civilian casualties are a sad consequence of war and justifying it.

And palestinians electing a government that is shit doesn't mean they deserve to be killed.
