I belatedly read it and thought I'd post here, but to whomever posted the rec for freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose, I just read it, and it actually destroyed me. Very unexpectedly. I'm not sure what it was, but I feel pretty much gutted. So thank you? I guess?

Anyone else have any fics that they never expected to like/really respond to, but did?

lmao, that was me and you're welcome. I can't think of any other fic that hit me that hard atm though, so maybe try asking a bit earlier tomorrow? (Freedom was beautiful though, right? Like, it destroys your soul but in the best way. And there's even some hope, but Rodney's story is so bittersweet and ugh, it's so good.)
