On FB, I never friend anyone myself. (Except when I started the acc and added some family/relatives.)

On twitter/tumblr, I follow a lot of people. I follow them because I like what they post/reblog/tweet about or they have the same interests/canons/ships/etc as me and want to see it on my TL/Dash. I don't go "connecting" with people or talking to them first though. I'm just really shy so I just talk to myself and watch my dash/tl.

Same, except I no longer use facebook and when I did I never friended a lot of people. I kept it pretty private and only talked to a couple people I was close to in fandom and IRL.

On tumblr I follow whoever has stuff I want to see on my dash and don't mind if they don't follow me back. I don't do discussion well on tumblr though (as well as being shy about asks), so I mostly only comment if someone reaches out.

Same. And really, I'm on Twitter to follow J-rockers because it's pretty popular with them as a way to keep in touch with people/fans. >.>;;
