Facebook: interact with people I used to interact with on LJ, plus family.

Twitter: interact with people I used to interact with on LJ, plus follow a few celebrity/public accounts (like the one for the Mars Rover).

Tumblr: I run a fandom-related blog and only post/reblog content related to that fandom, but I follow a wider variety of blogs, and some friends. I have a personal Tumblr too, but I keep forgetting about it.
