Re: Feeling alone with a kink?

But, for many men (in the US) that is true for them. There really hasn't been any formal surveys on preferences. The closest I found was from a survey adamandeve did. "Over 54% of the women polled said they prefer a circumcised penis, followed by 33% who had no preference. Only 3% of the female respondents said they prefer an uncircumcised penis. And nearly 10% of the women refused to answer."

And I do know that some men are bullied about this by other men. But I can almost guarantee than many men are also bullied by women about this. It isn't like the idea that women don't like uncircumcised penises came from nowhere. But I do think this is primarily only applies to the US (among others) where circumcision is very common.

I did not spell circumcision correctly on the first try at all. Not even once.

The part that's not true about it is the insinuation that a person (man or woman, honestly) is worth less if they are partner-less or have a specific genital configuration. Which is what I was trying to get at.

Plus it's crazy to assume that this actually matters so much to a person who actually has an emotional attachment to someone else that they'd just refuse a relationship altogether, which is the other part of the insinuation.

Also, there's nothing to say that the same uncircumsized guy is going not going to find an individual within of the percentage of women who don't care or prefer circumsized. The way these arguments usually go is in blanket statements of "WOMEN ARE X", as they usually tend to in these circles.

It doesn't only apply to the USA either, since this is internet culture I'm talking about. Only, since it's internet culture I'm talking about there's a bunch of reverse bullying and equally harmful shit that gets thrown about that really isn't worth getting into here.

Though women might do it as well, by definition they're not really part of the cycle of institutionalized degradation that goes on here, though. Which is why I wasn't including whatever female bias might actually be there in the discussion. It's not actually relevant to what occurs here.

Huh. I've never had any complaints about Mr. Johnson, and I've got a fairly large foreskin and sleep with American girls. Maybe they were just all too polite to say it grossed them out?
