2) I write OCs, I enjoy reading well written OCs (when an author seamlessly does this I am set for all their fics). The OCs I tend to read and write are usually OC/Canon character. To be fair, I have dived through the dregs of ff.net and I have seen far too often the Mary Sue OC (sometimes just ridiculously perfect/awesome or full of flaws the canon character finds charming/ make her "badass" [BITCH PLEASE -___-] so I do understand the natural apprehension--I've had it myself. For minor characters, I don't see what the big deal is about sticking them with an OC, esp. if they're not even going to get a lot of attention in the fic.

To be honest, if it's going to be a smutty PWP (or plot loosely based around the sex) OC, then depending on my mood, self inserts/malleable OCs are fine. IF there's a real good story going, then I prefer a well written OC.

In the end, skip it if it doesn't float your boat.

3) Well written and thought out crossovers ARE THE SHIT. When done well.

4) NGL, I like the Hannah Montana Miley. "Nobody's Perfect"...

I see. Glad to find someone else who doesn't mind. It can be fun to do and imagine I think depending on the writer it can either be slightly more likely to just as likely as being badly written as a canon /canon ship. (I have seen some canon/canon that was BAD.) I think again it all depends on if the OC is well written and the author's reasoning for writing it. If he/she's just writing a story it should be fine. If he/she's fantasizing through the character and writing a daydream...eh pass.

Also the "spunky/badass/ girl with ATTITUDE" type OCs were always my least favorite/most HATED. Like, no girl. You're just an insane and unpleasant bitch who's probably a pain to be around.

3. Yesssssssss. I love them they're like my crack. When I have time to spare to read fic.

4. INORITE? Hannah Montana songs are fun bouncy and bubbly and kinda innocent, and they make me feel like a tween....in a good way. I also liked Breakout -Can't Be Tamed. By Can't Be Tamed I think , she was pressing the envelope a bit but it seemed fairy tasteful and decent. A lot of the emotional songs were my faves. She does emotional well I think.
