Thought I'd have all semester to choose and develope a dissertation topic.

BUT the other day somebody told me there was a job opening if I were already working on it. SO, in 24 hours, I managed to create a topic proposal, get it approved, get an adviser, get my adviser to write me a letter of recommendation, set up a plan + preliminary bibliography, write a letter of motivation, set up my CV, dig up my old transcripts, and...

SENT IT IN IN TIME! * fistbump *

Even if I don't get the job, BOOYAH, I have a thesis topic and I'm officially a doctoral student! :D :D :D
