The secret is about a different secrets comm. That secret is about fans trying to profit from things like posting scans and fansubbing. Not trying to make a profit from their own work.

It was alright when I joined in 2011.

But everything is just so... dead. I mean, sharing comms are still active and I'm super grateful. But discussion, fanworks, etc, the anon meme, just..

I was into johnny's back in 2007, took a break and came back last year to find everything dying. It's so, so sad to see it :( especially since the johnny's I'm into have lost a big chunk of their fanbase and I have to be super patient and cross my fingers if I want someone to fansub the stuff they do. There's still little discussion sometimes I've seen, but yeah, everything it's pretty much dead than before.

As a continuing NEWS fan who was heavy into the fandom for a long time, I'm sad the LJ fandom seems to be dying but I also know I'm kind of 'part of the problem' because I still support the group and follow them/their releases/buy stuff, but somewhere along the way I fell out of the actual fandom and I don't know why or how.
