I just saw Schindler's List for the first time and it was awwwwwwesome. Ben Kingsley, jesus, was amaaaaazing. And I thought Liam Neeson was a shitty actor before but he made that movie tight. It was really touching and great (though I thought the "Schindler's Jews now" part was too jarring, aesthetically speaking).

So...what are some things you've just discovered that you really like? Maybe you just discovered Almost Human or Fargo or Starsky & Hutch?

Schindler's List is an amazing film. It gave me nightmares for weeks afterwards.

Shindler's List is such an amazing movie. I have to be in the right frame of mind to watch it, but it is incredibly powerful and emotional.

I'm that way with just about everything because I start things late. I started BTVS years after it was over, same with Babylon 5. I started Doctor Who while series 5 was airing.

I think my newest fandom was How I Met Your Mother which I started watching like a month before the final episode.

Does Arrested Development count? If not, the only recent thing that "old" is The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly about 5 months ago, which I really liked, but not sure when I will revisit it again since it is a 3 hour movie.

I just mean something you've discovered recently, regardless of when it was made. So Arrested Development definitely counts.

Schindler's List is my second most favorite movie ever. It is also why I am terrified Ralph Fiennes.

I recently discovered that I like playing sidescrolling platformers! So now I actually have an idea of what to look for when buying games off Steam.

I can't watch Schindler's List in one sitting. There are some films I'm reluctant to watch a second time because they affected me so emotionally during my first viewing.

I finally watched The Godfather last month. I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did.

Godfather is so good. Al Pacino is so good in it.

I saw him in Dog Day Afternoon and I was smitten. He's got this intensity and downlow-ness that is so intriguing to me.

Leverage and Farscape. I'd never seen either but I love them, Farscape does have some spotty moments for me but overall I do really like it.

I only just recently heard of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, although it's apparently been on since 2012. It's really awesome.

I saw Schindler's List once, in the theaters, and I don't now if I could watch it now. I get super anxious and upset about child harm in the media I consume. I avoid the news for days if there's been a publicized child death. IDK if I could handle it now.

So Hatoful Boyfriend is so 2 years ago, but I would really, really like to thank whoever linked Angie's LP of it here earlier in the week. HOLY SHIT. I read the entire fucking thing and was cackling the whole time. Birds with cleavers! And pudding obsessions (Oko San needs to meet Walter Bishop, you guys)! And everything in the extended BBL ending. Wow. Wow. That's some heavy shit in a parody dating game with pigeons.
