Re: how you handle frustration

(Anonymous) 2014-09-12 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry to hear about your frustrations. I want to eat junk food too when I'm frustrated or stressed.

Sometimes when I'm frustrated I feel like crying so I put on a movie or episode of a show that I KNOW always makes me cry and after I cry I tend to feel a little better.

I also try to call or PM/DM via FB or Twitter a friend and just vent my frustrations to them, and a lot of times it really helps.

And when things get really bad, I go out for a long drive and go shopping (sometimes it can just be browsing through a lot of aisles at Target/Walmart/my local grocery store, other times it's the mall or a bookshop/specialty story that I really like) or spend an entire day at the theatres watching movies. Doing things on my own gets me to focus on thinking about other things or to sort out my feelings that when I come back home I do feel better and hope that the next day will be better.

I hope you can find ways to settle things with or family or at least find a way to release your frustrations. I hope you'll have a better day tomorrow!
