Thank you for all that. It really helps, I'll remember that.

I think allowing for spending money is a good idea for me because I do tend to want to spend at times and never spending money would be miserable for me.

I;m still thinking about how much to put away. I mean I remember hearing somewhere that a guy saved every $5 he ever got and eventually had a bunch of money.I'm thinking of putting away a $20 or two every week.

Also if I wait a little longer and save , and then come when he's in Virginia that's much less travelling.
