Obviously you can like whatever you like, but Have you tried his short stories or Sandman? I think they're better written than any of the four books above. The Ocean at the End of the Lane was also stunning, the best thing he's ever done, I think. With the exception of Anansi Boys I think he's much better in short bursts.
