Secret number one got me wondering.

Hm, I guess I consider anyone less than half my age "young," so anyone 29 or under.

I am also being quite rude in asking someone their age, but I'm always super-excited when I see older people online!

58. I'm always slightly embarassed to admit it, but I've always felt it would be pretty gray area to pretend to be a college student.

It's pretty relative. I went to college until my late twenties, and it was weird how by the end of it, all the freshman and sophomores looked and acted so young. My aunt once told me someday, thirty will seem really young.

I also remember being six or something and thinking eight was so grown up.

I'm 43, so anyone younger than 31 is young to me. Or at least, too young to consider fucking. :)

I can see why…the gap in maturity would probably be awful.

That said…the first time I ever fell hard for someone was when I was 19 and he was 46. But he was already married, had kids older than me, we worked together, and I respected him far too much to ever burden him with my feelings.

But what a man he was!

This wasn't too long ago either, as I'm now 23. I still think of him...

If only all others thought like you I wouldn't get so many 50 year olds trying to do that very thing.

I get you because I feel that way about younger kids. But being 30 myself and just out of your range, I feel like cutting it off at 31 is rash. LOL

High school age and younger.

Probably this. (Though of course some younger people are incredibly mature, and some older folks aren't. Still, when I see teens I think, "Geez, I bet they think I'm old...")

I usually don't think of it age-wise. To me, you're young if you still attend school and have never had a full-time job. (That said, a homeless person is still young to me if they're a teenager or younger.)

Might sound like a pretentious ass here but…I don't really think of it in age but rather posting style and content. I've had too many great conversations with preteens about media (discussions with my family members) to really think of them as somehow too young.

On the other hand, I have met people over a decade older than me who come across as INCREDIBLY immature.

See it keeps moving the older I get. I'm 35 so anyone in their 20's is young to me. Once I get to 50 it'll probably be anyone 49 and below.

Anything under 25 is a child as far as I'm concerned.

I don't really tie it to numbers. My younger sister feels quite a bit older to me - she's married with two kids and a house. I feel like I'm way too young for that, and I'm 38 years old - I'm still wearing goth outfits all the time (even work), go camping on music festivals, etc. Even my dad seems younger to me (he's 66 years old), and I remember him saying "I'm too young to be a grandfather!" five years ago. So I guess, it's all a matter of perspective?

Under 21.

Anyone in their early twenties or younger. I remember being in my early twenties and thinking I was so grown up and mature, but once I got into my later twenties/early thirties, I realized how immature I still was. And this was despite having moved out at seventeen, working and taking care of myself.

In a more broad definition everyone under retirement age.

When I was 18 I thought I was so very grown up. As soon as I hit my mid-twenties (a decade or so ago) I realised that teenagers are painfully young.

Then again my grandmother thinks of me as young, so there we go.

We're all young in the grand scheme of things.

This sounds like something a 40 year old would say when trying to pick up a 19 year old. :/

Any age under 60, at this point.

I dunno. I work with so many seniors that at this point some 90 year olds seem young to me.
