Gaia online. No big story there, I just got sick of the drama and the pedophilia.

Animeotk caters to my kink, but the attitude of some of the mods was revolting so I quit that place too.

Pedophilia?

Considering that most of members are under 18, I'd hardly call it pedophilia, but I get why you'd leave.

There were several threads that stated pedophilia was okay and called for its decriminalization because it was the unjust persecution of a sexual minority and anyone who didn't agree with that line of logic was a horrible bigot. I suspect that the people who started such threads were oh-so-edgy teenagers who wanted to start shit, but still. DNW.

I'll admit I occasionally visit Gaia (and have been off/on for the last 10 years out of force of habit... damn, I feel old), but I'm about to ready to bail once and for all myself. It's just gotten so... well, toxic might be the most polite thing I can say about the place, is all I'm saying.

Yeah, I don't see why anyone would subject themselves to that. Cute li'l avatars are not worth the headaches.

Ah yes. RobM pisses EVERYONE off. I really can't imagine why they keep him around.

I love how I didn't specify who it was and you knew exactly who I was talking about anyway. There are some things money can't buy.

Yeah, I occasionally check in to look at the art, but I don't post on the forums or anything. The only explanation I have for why RobM gets away with acting the way he does is he donates to the site and Ai doesn't want to get rid of him.

I'm semi-active in the forums and the chatroom (where RobM never, ever goes) but I don't RP, which is like 80% of the forum traffic.

And while we're both talking about the same art, who do you like better, Pastel or H-bum? :)

H-bum is more my style. I also like Arkham_Insanity.

Arkham's terrific; I also have a weird fondness for Collegeboy's work. I dunno why; it's like his style has the unadorned sincerity of a 20-year-old playing an acoustic guitar. It's adorable.

Collegeboy draws some interesting scenarios. Not really stuff that's my fantasies, but interesting. Ruka is good too.

Do you like ?/F or ?/M ?

Most often /M, but sometimes I get in a real F/F mood, you know? M/F almost never does it for me.

Yeah, I'm not a M/F fan either. /M is where it's at.

I tried logging on to my old Gaia account recently and it was so different from the Gaia I knew in high school. The item price inflation alone had me balking.

Oh jeeze, I didn't even think of that. I should try to log in to my old account and sell my stuff for cheap, just to play havoc with their economy.

I know a lot have quit over the gold generators, but the latest story aka 133Tgate takes the cake.

I'm a bit out of the loop about the scandals and drama over there. Drop me some drama deets?

Someone noted that there was a huge spike in the Marketplace prices and wondered if there was a glitch. An Admin said that someone purchased a double rainbow ticket for 133 Trillion gold.

There were some investigations and someone else found out that a mule shared by some of the staff that bought the ticket with test gold aka gold they created. They said they wanted to use the ticket for either Flynn's Plunder of a top tier gift for a goldsink kickstarter.

More investigating and two more Gaia staff mules were discovered, The sellers are pissed and so are a lot of people...except for the asskissers.

That is a thing of beauty. So much drama over pixels on the internet.
