I get immensely frustrated with some of the black women in my fandom because they're constantly whining on how I don't understand what it's like for them when it comes to media representation and romance.

It pisses me off because:

1. I get WAY, WAY less representation than them
2. Not liking one particular character or romance doesn't mean I think all of them are bad. I just have some I like and some I don't. Like in Marvel -- I LOVE the hell out of Sam/Steve but I've never liked Tony and Rhodey together. Just like with white couples.

It makes me feel bad because I KNOW they have legitimate points. But the fact that they have it 1000% times better than me when it comes to media representation and that some of them lash out at anyone who disagrees with them (even if it's politely and with legitimate points) gets under my skin.
