I don't think that's bad, anon. Just human. Most of us are pleased at the prospect of being missed if we go away. It makes sense that you'd feel like this, especially seeing as you have other reasons for wishing to move.

If anything, it may mean that you're sort of emotionally starved (you yourself mention that you don't have "much of a social life"). That's a cause for concern, not a reason to judge yourself.
