And what characters would it be about?

Like a Sleepy Hollow prequel with Abbie and Sheriff Corbin kicking ass(while he secretly sends Jenny off to find supernatural stuff).

Or a Castle prequel where Castle and a little Alexis raise each other as he really gets into the famous writer thing.

I'd love to see the precipitating events of Robert's Rebellion, the Rebellion, and the short aftermath, from Game of Thrones. IDK it just sounds like a great story. Especially since there's a lot of POV about Lysanna's "abduction".

I'd love a prequel to Spec Ops: The Line.

I'd love to see Konrad and Walker actually interact. And I'm dying to know precisely what happened in Kabul.

Though, it'd probably be rather superfluous, unfortunately, compared to the original.

Last Exile. It would be about when the Exile ships first had to leave Earth, with an all new cast, and a ton of world building, and history. Especially info about the Guild, how it developed, and why after creating the Exiles and Presters, and all that they pretty much went into a cultural stagnation for over six hundred years.

A Digimon Adventure prequel about Osamu and Ken. I want it , I want it really bad.

Babylon 5 prequel set during the period where Earth was just starting to meet the various races. Culminating with the Earth/Minbari war.

Game of Throne prequel set during the original conquering of Westeros by the Targaryens

Buffy prequel of the adventures of the Fanged Four or the Giles/Ripper show we never got.

Still wishing for Haven: The Lucy Ripley Years, with Simon and a young Garland and a young(er) Vince and Dave. Hopefully we'll get some of that in canon this season.

I mentioned Haven below, but for Duke and Nathan. I'm a sucker for both characters. However, I did think of Garland and young Vince and Dave as well. IMO that would be a legitimately good series, but it probably won't happen.

YES I WOULD TOTALLY BE ONBOARD WITH TINY BABY DUKE AND NATHAN AS WELL. Either as little kids during the last round of the Troubles or during their awkward teenage years (which I swear I will finish one of my fics about someday). I'd also be interested in a miniseries about Duke in the years he wasn't in Haven, talking about where he traveled to and what kind of trouble he got into and how he met Evi.

I would be down for any and all of that! Kid Duke and Nathan would be too adorable for words and having the ability to explore more Troubles is always a plus, but I'm extra curious about their teenage years... (You should finish your fics! I don't look for Haven fic often, but when I do it's usually for Duke/Nathan fic set pre-series. And there doesn't appear to be much of it. :/)

Syfy should just run with every single one of these ideas ~~it's not like they have anything better to air anyway~~.

All my pre-series stuff (and all my stuff from other fandoms, too!) is back-burnered right now in favor of a present-day casefic that's the most involved thing I've ever written (and which does have a Duke/Nathan endgame), but if that ever sets my brain free getting at least one of those done is my first priority. I am going to be all over those awkward teenage unrequited crushes that would probably be way less unrequited than you think if you'd just actually say something, Duke.

Why is nobody tapping this gold mine.

It confuses me because they have so much chemistry, and it really does feel like Nathan's reactions to Duke are fueled by something more than what we've been told. The bullying and the using him would be enough, but somehow that still doesn't feel like the whole story to me. I wish more people would explore their past...or the show itself would, before the finale. *sigh*

Ugh, the casefic sounds great too! I will undoubtedly read it when I find myself in the Duke/Nathan tag again. (IDK if you've already posted any of it yet, but you've made me want to check.)

It's pretty much my personal head-canon that Nathan had a really unfortunate and painful crush on Duke in his teen years, and maybe the two of them even fooled around a bit but Duke was hesitant to take their relationship seriously and after 'breaking up' with Nathan moved away. So all this talk of unrequited crush fic is making me thirsty; I eat that shit up.

Heh, my headcanon is the exact opposite. I picture Duke as being the one with the hopeless crush he never got up the nerve to confess, while Nathan had all kinds of tenderness and affection for him but never really consciously registered his own feelings as "I like you like you." Even when I write them as adults he's the one who needs a bit of gentle kicking before he really looks at what he's feeling and starts asking questions about it.

The casefic isn't anywhere yet; it's my first attempt at longfic and thus I'm not posting it until the entire thing is written. And edited. Dear God, this is such a first draft and it's going to need so much editing. But I have an outline and all kinds of momentum, so I have high hopes of actually finishing it one day.

I would be fine with either! Duke and Nathan are both shit at talking about feelings so it works.

I kind of want one for Haven just so we can see young!Duke and Nathan.

A Being Human (syfy version) sequel where we see Aidan being the monster he tried to suppress while he was with Josh and Sally. Aidan and Bishop, psycho monsters supreme!

I think this could only sustain a miniseries, but I want the Rufus and Bobby Show for Supernatural.

This, pretty much. I'd also like an episode involving a backstory for crowley (bc honestly, he just adds humor to the whole mess) and perhaps an episode for some john/ellen love.
