DA. Considering no one (outside of the parties involved and their own biased perspective) knows the situation as to why Chris didn't come back for the special, I don't think it's fair to call him petulant.

I will agree that he has had other career goals, but I've also heard rumors about terrible working conditions on Who and Moffat being a giant ass. So I don't know that I would put the entirety of the blame on Chris without really knowing the situation.

How come Eccleston said the reason he went on DW was because of RTD and his writing though?

People jump to RTD or Barrowman (OK, I can see why Ecclescake wouldn't go along with him) but it's much more likely that it was members of the crew / BBC besides these two who caused problems.

Still, I hate the fact that he wouldn't even try to come back for his fans either. I mean, you can't tell me that everyone who worked there much longer than he did could endure whatever troubled him back then but he can't.

I understand being upset that he didn't come back, I was too as I would have loved more then anything to see 9, 10 and 11 interact. But I also understand that for him Who was a job, and perhaps a job he had unpleasant memories of and didn't want to return to.

I'm just not going to judge the man without knowing the whole situation. Lots of people work jobs that other people don't enjoy, and some people can get along with people that other people don't. It sucks for us as fans, but I don't think we should rush to judgement just because we aren't happy.
