I admit I suddenly want to watch DW because of Capaldi. In fact, I may end up doing so. Basically, the day the first episode came out, I tweeted that "I've always disliked Doctor Who, but Capaldi!Doctor looks like a sassier Time Lord version of Joseph Bell and I'm SO tempted now", and that's still my general sentiment.

i'm watching it (and enjoying it, somewhat!), because of my beloved fucktybye, but i have no idea what's going on most of the time because i'm not a who-person.

i wouldn't say he's sassy, tho, he's more grumpy catish. still gr8.

anyway, it's watchable. go for it. i have a feeling no one knows what to do with coleman's character, but the actual actress is fab, i hope she gets better gigs in the future.
