#8 names names. Fandom names, sure, but still names. Is this allowed? Should it be?

I'm asking as a person who, in the past, has interacted with one of the people in question.

Maybe I'm just being hypersensitive, but something about it just rubs me the wrong way.

They're BNFs. Saying that it's wrong to name them is like saying it's wrong to name a writer or an actor.

It's not the naming as much as it is being named in the gossip or potential gossip.

It's one thing to say "I've always admired so-and-so's work" or "so-and-so's comments really disgust me" but I always get a little uncomfortable when people start digging in places that don't concern them at all. Such as the personal lives of others.

But then, I despise gossip.
