I like Capaldi so far, but I don't think he has enough out yet for me to make a final judgement.

David Tennant is my favorite New Who Doctor, but I'm thinking that's because he was the Doctor for so long I can cherry-pick the good parts of 10 and ignore the ones I don't like. Anything that runs for long enough tends to produce both peaks and valleys. I feel the same way about Tom Baker's run too.

Also, I don't think there's enough love for Classic Who in the modern DW fandom.
