Kakashi's eye drama was...complicated. He got BOTH of Obito's eyes for a little bit, complete with Mangekyo Sharingan and a perfect Susano'o, but then they were normal again...I have to admit that half the time, I have no clue what's going on in the manga. My favorite character is Neji, so once he was gone, I basically was reading just for the sake of seeing it end (hopefully soon; it is time, Kishimoto).
I have no idea why Sasuke thinks killing the Kages will solve anything. He's completely nuts. If the Raikage can't beat him up, I hope Sakura does. She's taken enough of his crap already. If he actually becomes Hokage in the end, I hope the citizens of Fire Country will have the good sense to move very far away.
Speaking of the Raikage, I wonder how Killer Bee is doing. He's probably my favorite of the newer characters; his rap lyrics are just so bad!
I always wonder about what kinds of missions teams other than Team 7 take. Gai, Ebisu, and Genma would have been a genin team during one of the wars, right? They probably would have had really dangerous missions. I wonder what their teamwork was like; I bet Ebisu was the more scatter-brained one and Gai was the type to just charge in there without thinking twice.

(Anonymous) 2014-09-15 04:39 am (UTC)(link)That makes no sense. What the he'll, Kishimoto? The eye swapping has always been utterly ridiculous but that's just absurd. Did he go back to his original eyes or what? My head hurts just trying to make sense of it. I've got no clue either. I checked out after the Pein arc when I realized my favorite characters were forever sidelined. Now I just check in just to see if itcis near the end yet. Please no part 3. It needs to be put out of its misery.
I mean the Kages who had anything to do with what happened to his clan are dead so why? Is he trying to start a new war and fuck everything over? God, I'd kill for Sakura to beat the shit out of him. I'm hoping that if he does become hokage, he gets assassinated soon after. Civilian uprising ftw. They've put up with enough Uchiha bullshit.
Killer Bee and the Raikage are two of my faves of the new characters. I wish we had more insight into their lives.
I can't remember. They were all kids during Madara's attack on Konoha, but I'm not sure about wars. I wonder how well they worked together. Who was the most levelheaded? Was it Genma? It sure as hell wasn't Gai. I wonder how they handled their first kills. I don't think Gai would have taken it lightly.

I think he temporarily borrowed Obito's while Obito was halfway in ninja heaven (why he gets to go to Heaven after all the horrible things he did, I have no idea), but then when he was done, Obito took them back and went to the afterlife. It...makes about as much sense as Kaguya being an alien/being from another world and chakra coming from a magic tree.
I think Sasuke is trying to start over. As in, let's kill everyone in power and start from scratch. Clearly the kid has never read a history book because that always works out so well...not. He really should not have any position of authority at any time.
As sad as it would be to let the Sharingan and its powers be gone forever, I'm kind of hoping Sasuke will die the last Uchiha. Even if he does marry and try to revive his clan, I'm hoping they all somehow miss the Sharingan gene so the craziness curse of the Uchiha no longer plagues the land.
Hokage Sasuke being defeated by an uprising of the people sounds like an excellent fic idea. I'd read it. I bet the ramen guy would be the ringleader of it all.
I can't remember all the wars either. I know something was going on because that was how Obito "died" when Kakashi was a kid, but it might have just been a skirmish. I bet Genma was the most calm and collected, but at the same time, he seems laid-back to a fault, like he would under-react to things that really require a reaction.
Sorry if I'm not making much sense; it's late o'clock in my timezone, and I'm getting pretty tired. It's been super fun chatting with you though! :D

Of course Obito went to ninja heaven. Of course he did. Ugh. Obito, you used to be kinda cool. For an Uchiha, anyway. What happened? I kinda liked Kaguya. Liked her more than Madara anyway.
Oh yeah, killing off the Kages of the other countries is totally a good idea. You totally won't have people plotting to kill your dumb ass after that. No sir, they'll just sit back and let you rule over them without a word to the contrary. Sasuke should'nt be anywhere near a position of power. Ever.
It would be sad to let such an ability die out, but like you said, the Uchiha are kind of a plague to the people. The world would be better off imo. If I could, I'd totally write it. Ramen shop guy would be the glorious leader of the revolution!
I do remember that there was instability between the countries but not so certain if it was a war. Genma being the cool head of the bunch would be great. I think that he was a bit of an idiot though, so his plans weren't always the best. He also couldn't always settle Gai and Ebisu down and was sometimes easily roped into their shenanigans.
Don't worry! If you need to rest then do so. :) I've really enjoyed chatting with you as well. Not often I get to talk about Naruto.
