???? maybe i just follow the wrong people but theres like, a big uncontested part of the gravity falls fandom that wants to fuck grunkle stan (they call him hunkle stan)

cant really think of any other kids shows with confirmed adult characters atm and im just using GF as an example but i think youre wrong about how others perceive you.

idk, dude, I don't normally hang out on the GF tags, but when I was looking for gifs post-"Scary-oke," it seemed like every other post was "OH MY GOD HOW COULD YOU THINK STAN IS HOT YOU PEOPLE DISGUST ME GET OUT OF FANDOM," which I mostly found hilarious because of how intense an over-reaction it was.

But, like all things, I'm sure there are a zillion people on all sides of the issue--just as many people lusting after the OP's character of choice as there are people shouting them down for liking him in the first place.

I'm a little confused because I'd have trouble thinking of any contemporary kids show without some sort of adult character. HTTYD, Green Lantern, Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, Phineas and Ferb... Most have some sort of adult there. (Oh, the Doofencest....)

Legend of Korra has a pretty nice (and expanding) roster of adults and silver foxes. Pretty sure everyone wants to be carried in Lin's arms while swinging around all spiderman style, grope Korra's dad, touch her uncle, cuddle Tenzin, something something with Amon & family, and so on.
