Agreed; Book 3 is really the only one I enjoyed (and even then, I felt more attached to the Red Lotus than the "Krew", as they're called.)

I hope the Red Lotus isn't just a throwaway villain group that we'll never hear about again. Really hoping they continue to play a role in Book 4.

Weirdly, Book 3 made Korra a lot more salient and identifiable for me, especially at the very end.

Seconded. The other books have their moments, but Book 3 starts out great and just keeps building.
