I love NaNo. I'm like sarillia in that I couldn't imagine not doing it.

That said...my prep is next to nothing. It's basically, "oh, it's October 30th. I should think of what I'm going to write." I spend the next day and a half coming up with an idea, then pants the hell out of it.
