I think OP's theory is that because we're not female, we would write sex differently in slash porn. Except.. I've written tropey slashy gay sex in slash fic and of course it's not realistic actual gay sex, because it's slash fic. It's not supposed to be realistic sex. Since when is het erotica realistic straight sex either?

There's a formula for 'het erotica' which is flexible but definitely there.. same with 'slash erotica'. I like the formula, which is why I read and write it.. if I didn't, I'd go for something else.
