To be honest, I was kind of this way about baseball of all things! I grew up with it on in the background (and also football- my mom's favorite- and basketball) and never paid much attention to it. I have strong childhood memories of Vin Scully's voice in the living room while my sisters and I played with Barbies and Star Wars Micro Machines. My dad was overjoyed when the Angels won the World Series in 2002, as he'd been a fan since they were in the PCL. But I didn't play any sports, and I didn't have any interest in watching them.

Then when I moved back home after college, I randomly started watching some it with my parents. The room I've moved into gets blasted by afternoon sun in summer, so it's really just easier to go downstairs where it's cooler between 4 and 6. When there's almost always at least one baseball game on.

Three years later, I have somehow become I big baseball fan. O___o I like it enough to get an icon for it. I'm still really not 100% sure how it happened, but it did!

I am a bigger fan of football now then I used to be! My sister loves college football so I see it a lot. Eventually you have to start enjoying it or you go insane.

Is baseball the only sport you enjoy watching?
