But that's just it. If it was large amount of money, then there is an understanding that what you're doing is a bit of a gamble, because you don't know what kind of product you'll get in the end and there aren't really clear refund policies for fan-commissioned art. So if you know what kind of deal you're getting into, it's better to move on than dwell on it if you ended up getting the short end of the stick.
