8. Y'know what? Screw you. I am so sick of people like you laughing up your sleeves all smug and superior-like. "Silly shippers. You're certainly entertaining to watch. O-ho-ho-ho..."

Bite me. I like Zuko/Katara, but I'm not rabid about it. I really was hoping it could happen because it just seemed like a really cool path to take, and I'm tired of being mocked because that seemed like a good idea to me. In fact, the only thing I'm rabidly against is Zuko/Mai, because the way it was written makes me throw up a little.

14. I will now undo just about everything I've been trying to prove about myself and my worthiness in the fandom and say... um, I kind of totally agree. I love Classic!Who. I love Jamie and Sarah Jane and Romana and all. But there's 20 years of it. There's a whole bunch of it, and it's wonderful, and while I'm certainly not upset or disappointed that the show will (hopefully!) be continuing in that vein and start having more companions that are completely not interested in the Doctor's pants and vice-versa...

I could easily have watched it for seasons more as a show about a time-traveling couple who was totally in love. Couples in sci-fi are cool, dangit! It would've been a totally different animal from Classic!Who, but that's alright.

And yes, it probably is because the very first episode of Doctor Who I ever saw was "Dalek" so the show I fell in love with was about Doctor/Rose.

Also, it bears saying, while I was in the middle of typing this, UPS just delivered "Mark of the Rani." I can't wait to watch it!

17. I really want to see that show. I also think it wouldn't be hard to be more adult than Torchwood. I mean, I like Torchwood well enough, but constantly horny characters hopping into bed with any interested party doesn't me as particularly adult or mature. If y'know what I mean.

30. You are most certainly not alone. There's only a handful of slash I support. I'm not even gonna say I "like." It slash pairings that are just too THERE for me to deny. But much as I believe that Much loves Robin as more than just a brother, or that Pintel and Ragetti are so freaking married, I don't really want to see/read about them, em...doing things. Just doesn't particularly turn me on.

36. I think I know what you mean. I'd never say it in specifics, but I think it's more than possible. Some writers, especially after a lot of success (*cough*George Lucas. Even though he's not really who I'm thinking of), tend to stop being particularly maticulous about characterization and other things. I don't mean in a nitpicking way; I mean in a seriously noticiable way.

43. I've heard of it. But only because someone wrote amazing X-menMovie/Firefly crossover. I wish she'd finish it. It was serious good times. Also, Firefly the show is amazing, and worth watching. But I'm sure you've heard that a billion times.

Not to support the stupid wankers who seem to be on vendettas, but I think Avatar fandom is in a backlash trend right now in regards to Zuko/Katara. Because there are times when it seems that in terms of fandom all you come across is Zuko/Katara this and Zuko/Katara that, and people began to resent to it, because that is what happens when things get popular. Not saying I support it, but I think I know where a bit of it might be coming from.

Both sides have been incredibly stupid (I personally wish some factions would tone down on the Mai hate, it is okay to dislike the character and the pairing, but to do it with that much vitriol. Give me a break)

I'm one of those people that only ships canon, actually. But yeah, I know. Shipping it is one thing, but...

There was such a thing as fic, let alone crossover, for the novel? That's pretty nifty.
