The only one I can think of off the top of my head is "Hello, Seattle", and my feelings about Owl City vary wildly depending on my mood. o_O

Electric Los Angeles Sunset. Is anyone surprised that it's an Al Stewart song? ;) I don't necessarily think it's representative of LA, I'm just selecting it because it's a kickass song and more people should hear it. It always reminds me of Watchmen.

Lyrically, "California One / Youth & Beauty Brigade" might be a better look at California.

"Back Home Again in Indiana" is our song, but I always keep thinking about the TV promo for Indiana Beach "There's more than corn in Indiana…"

Personally, I've always loved John Mellencamp's "Small Town". Indiana native!

It's a rare choral ballad song (so no released versions, or any covers or recordings on youtube).

It's pretty copyrighted I think so I won't post any lyrics but it's called "Ballad to Saskatchewan." It stuck with me since I was a mere elementary student.

I can't think of a lot of songs about Arizona, but "Take it Easy" by the Eagles talks about Winslow, Arizona.

A song I like much more, "I've Never Been to Spain," also makes a brief reference to Arizona. It's a Three Dog Night song, but embarrassingly enough, my favorite version is by Hanson.

I don't actually know any songs about Michigan that are well, known outside Michigan. I like "Detroit Rock City", but that's the other side of the state.

Apparently Primus and Ben Folds both have songs about/naming my town in addition to the best known one. Which Primus's song is sorta based on.

(And I technically don't live in the city of Kalamazoo anymore, but still in the county. Have my entire life.)
