nayrt - Yes, and "tragically beautiful" pornographic gore has existed for centuries as well.

Yep, it's the major theme of the show. If someone doesn't want to watch it that's perfectly understandable, but it's a lot more complex than "murder is beautiful". That's the viewpoint of one character, and the first two seasons have been about how seductive his evil can be.

It's a thin line, but Hannibal is just fancy-looking gorn, sorry. It's not art by any stretch.

Where do you draw the line, out of curiosity? What makes Hannibal gorn and not artistic/purposeful?
