I remember someone saying something like this in the comments a few weeks back, I think.

Put your mind at rest, OP (at least relatively speaking; the whole situation is still tragic) - I doubt that's what happened.

Wow... However, I don't think Robin Williams was in the midst of masturbating when he made that choice (the reports I've read, Robin did some significant self harm to himself before the action with the belt), where as David Carradine unfortunately did commit autoerotic asphyxiation like in the movie. So it is a bit of semantics... but I can see how in either case it would be disturbing. For the record I haven't seen Worlds Greatest Dad because of that plot point.

Yeah, I watched the movie after he had died and that part shocked me. I felt sad even watching that. I had to pause it and watch other things. Came back to it the next day.
