That entire finale was such a piece of shit I haven't even bothered to cut up and define all the different ways in which it was a piece of shit.

Eric and Pam becoming infomercial hosts was pretty hilarious, but in general I agree that it was awful. Like, I won't pretend that True Blood was ever really a sophisticated and high quality show but I was still surprised by how terrible the finale was

I agree completely. Eric and Pam are huge assholes but the show never seems to acknowledge the fact that they're awful people.

sarah's end didn't really bother me, but not playing what happened to her for giggles would have been nice. but it's always been, tee-hee eric and pam are so fierce and awesome with that show and that fandom.

Finally caught up with the finale because of this secret, and hahahahahahahaha oh my god. Babies and sentimental schmaltz everywhere, except for this one detail with a woman slowly being tortured to death in a basement. It's like the whole point of the show, horror and death and actually fixing the problem where monsters do horrible things without anybody to regulate them, were a footnote in Sookie's bizarre happy ending. Can't remember the last time I've seen so much "We don't fucking care anymore" in an ending.
