What's the newest thing occupying your time and thoughts?

Mine is Cagney & Lacey. I've always wanted to watch this show, so I didn't hesitate when I found the second season dvd set at a flea market. Now I'm trying to hunt down as many episodes as I can.

I've been playing the Smash 3DS demo all day and MAN is it a whopper to control.

Hockey RPS. I got sick and somehow ended up reading a ton. I don't know. I don't even like hockey. Or RPS.

Game of Thrones! I just finished Season 1. Glad my fav pairing seems to have to have the most fics on AO3.

I just started watching that yesterday; I was surprised by how good it was.
Did you read the book first?

Nah. I have tried to read the books. I can enjoy fantasy shows/movies but not books.

I'm planning to start a couple new pony customs once the weather improves (too humid to paint right now), and since they're going to be a slightly different style than my usual fare my mind keeps wandering back to exactly how I'm going to design them whenever I have a 'not thinking about anything in particular' moment.

Mori Kaoru's manga.

Her art is so pretty and so detailed.

I've been playing around with Tinkercad, trying to make spare toy parts for figures whose accessories I don't want to hotglue. The library uses a type of plastic that's likely hard to paint though, but ah well. At least I'll have replicas! I haven't printed anything just yet though, but I've been stockpiling files for other things like fancy cups and jaggy doohickeys. Maybe I can make makeup tins with lids! Or even a refillable pen! Eeeeeeeee!

Transformers Prime. I'm halfway into season 2, and I really like this show. Given that the only TF show I've watched was Beast Wars and Machines, it does a pretty good job imo of letting me understand some of the lore in this adaptation. Plus, I really love the detail that goes into giving the bots scratches and wear! Not to mention the background artwork. There were characters I knew I was already going to love, like Arcee and Starscream obviously, but I also didn't expect the human characters to grow on me. Especially Miko, who was finally toned down from the giant fuck up she is in the first season where everyone's characters are still being established.

Fucking Bejeweled. Got it for free on Origin and it was a bad, bad idea.

Still Haikyuu!! and Kuroko no Basket. I caught up with Haikyuu!! (the manga) about...two weeks ago? (Though I am slightly behind again because) Then I decided to read Kuroko no Basket. Sadly it has been a slow process; just can't find the time for everything.

I also decided to play Hotel Dusk, a DS game I never finished, so I'm about halfway through with that. The character art/animation is gorgeous (Unf, Kyle) and the story and cast (Louis and Rosa are adorable) are pretty great, too. I'm liking it. (Or, I'm liking everything but a few of the 'mini-games'. Ughhhhhh, that stupid ass box. Tapping the bottom of a box should not be this much of a chore.)

Sharing video game ideas that will never actually go anywhere with a friend. It takes her forever to get back to anyone on anything though, so that's driving me extra crazy. Things like this were so much easier when we could talk in person, but she lives several hours away now.

Final Fantasy Theatrhythm: Curtain Call.

Granted, I knew I'd enjoy it - that's why I bought it the second day it was out even though I hadn't bought a game all this year due to financial troubles. I just didn't realize how much stuff they'd added from the first Theatrhythm game! I'm getting angry at the game sometimes, solely because I just unlocked ONE MORE AWESOME THING and I can't decide which of the awesome things I've unlocked I want to do first.

(Also, having to choose whether to unlock Kain or Celes? DEAR GAME, THIS IS LIKE SOPHIE'S CHOICE FOR ME. Having Balthier and Auron as other options for the same unlock wasn't helping.)
