As long as he's doing it safely and responsibly, and not taking anything illegally/out of season, I don't actually see the harm.
This. It kind of strange how people demonize any kind of hunting, even if it's responsible. How is it morally worse than buying meat at the grocery store?

I mean, I can see why people might have an issue with trophy hunting, but even that can help put money into conservation, assuming you're doing it properly/legitimately. I mean, I would never do it, personally, but if you're putting the money into conservation, I can't complain, especially given how much money I haven't put into conservation. |D Someday I will be able to afford to. Someday.
