Do men who make video blogs about video games have people making death threats against their family if they lie? Unless you're saying the death threats themselves are lies - given that I have been threatened with death by men myself for much less I doubt it.

I'm not saying the deaths are lies. Oh no. Of course not. In fact I am annoyed at the threateners.

But just that....um Anita's done and said a LOT of questionable stuff, and more often than not she will ignore stuff in games to make things fit her views and she raised up a bunch of money and didn't really do anything about it. She stole art that looked suggestive claiming it was official IIRC when it wasn't and she ignored it when this was pointed out. Also with all the money she raises , she steals stuff from playthroughs on youtube made by other people.

That's all of it I know so far. Like I am aware that sexists exist and people hate her for sexist reasons. But not everyone who hates her is a sexist or has sexist motives. Some people just plain don't agree with her, or don't like the things she does.

It's kinda bad to put people on a pedestal and ignore things they've done because someone did something to them.

Example: If I was rude to someone about something they wrote and said uncalled for things and they responded to me by saying "shut up bitch someone should kill you" or something it would be bad, but it wouldn't negate the fact that something I said to them was uncalled for.

No one cared because Jack Thompson is batshit insane. The death threats were beyond unokay (they gave him more fuel because he wanted attention) but he relished them and, as far as I know, none of them were serious.

I'm learning some very interesting stuff about Anita that is deeply disappointing and I doubt any of the death threats are serious/enactable, but that doesn't make them okay.

That also doesn't mean some people shouldn't get slapped in the face for being jackasses.
