Oh. Yeah, I am. This was a few years back. I had about a year and a half of consistent care, I got a diagnosis for an underlying condition that makes things easier to understand, and I lucked out on a particular medication (after trying about four, but we got there). Sorry, I got caught up remembering. I'm actually pretty good these days, more or less.

I hope you're well yourself.

Regarding the series, I wasn't particularly interested in the first place (not a comment on quality or anything, I haven't seen it, it just never piqued my interest much), but I think having a storyline like that underlying things would taint it for me somewhat. So. I'm pretty okay with giving it a pass?

I'm better, though I've had years of fucked-upness so I think I'll always carry something of that with me. But, strangely enough the whole experience of thinking I was going to die sort of cured me from ever seriously attempting again. Though, it's not exactly something I'd recommend. And I got worse before I got better. But that's a long story.

I can totally understand you not wanting to touch it with a ten foot pole. I made the decision for myself I won't avoid things I love because of it, because let's face it, if I had to avoid everything that triggered bad memories I could watch half of the shows I watch, and couldn't read most fanfic I like.
