A crowd has formed from the British Fascist party, or something like that (they actually call themselves the British Fascist something or other) in the centre of Glasgow and are good naturedly celebrating defeating the independence campaign by chanting anti-Catholic slogans, singing songs about King Billy, burning saltires and lion rampant flags and trying to attack passers by. It isn't exactly news, they were doing much of this to pro-independence meetings before the vote, but the BBC and the other news agencies declined to report on it then. Its only news now that the independence vote has passed by.

Also the British news agencies made a big thing about a list of pledges supposedly signed by the English party leaders promising new powers and more devolved options if Scots voted no, but now it is being denied by those leaders that they offered anything and they are committed to changing nothing.

Lot of people were hoodwinked it seems. It is the sort of stuff that if happened in Africa would have resulted in UN resolutions and sanctions by now.
