I'm a huge, huge cat lover. I have four cats. FOUR. But yes, if they are feral and you are not able to TnR (Trap and Release, which is where you neuter/spay them and then release them), then yes, they are considered part of the "small pests" problem.

This would not stop me from sobbing uncontrollably when I stumbled on a feral that had been shot. But it does mean that feral won't be producing anymore litters, thus leading to about five million MORE cats that have to be shot.

Or adopted out, too. ANd we all know just how empty pet shelters are because of how many people are just rushing to adopt all those animals! I mean, we've totally solved the problem of making sure all those stray cat's babies are adopted in pet friendly homes, right? Riiiiggght????
