Not the top team, since Detroit completely TROUNCED them last night. XD They are, as expected, now a game and a half out of first. They play Detroit again today and tomorrow, and if they manage to win both games, then they'd be in first place going into the final stretch. If Detroit wins both, then they'll be up by three and a half games over KC, and it'll depend on KC winning most of their games against other opponents while Detroit loses most of their games against other opponents.

Of course, they might hit the postseason even if Detroit stays out in front of the division, because there's still the wildcard spots, for the couple of teams that are best in the league ASIDE FROM the division winners.

tl;dr: my girlfriend has turned me into a baseball geek and I actually find this stuff interesting now, sorry. :P (It's the whole statistics thing. Baseball is heavy on statistics, and patterns. It keeps a nerd (and probable Aspie) like me engaged.)
