this is why I don't shave my pubes or thighs anymore. (The hair on my thighs barely shows anyway. And I rarely go swimming but when I do I just put shorts on over my suit)

I hope you find a solution that works, though. Sorry I don't have much to add. I do think hydrocortizone helps a lot of people, so seconding that, I guess.

if I didn't have thick/dark hair I'd probably skip shaving at all, but sadly it's really visible :(
I think I'm going back to my idea of looking into lasering it or something.

Interestingly, while I have pretty thick and dark hair on most of my body (head, eyebrows, calves, pubes), the hair on my thighs doesn't show up as much. It's visible, but not from a distance or if you're only glancing.
