That would also be a good idea in terms of solving the sex/gender kerfuffle, but there isn't always space for that -- there are two bathrooms and 20 rooms on each floor here, and most of those rooms are doubles. That'd be two toilets per forty people. Especially in a women's dorm, what with periods going on left and right.
