A few weeks ago someone asked me to customize a theme because I have a good eye for color or something (lol). It literally took three hours because the description was too narrow and I needed to tweak the HTML to make it usable.

I have no experience with HTML.

It looks great now, but the whole experience taught me that A) I should learn HTML, B) people who design themes must have the patience of saints, and C) Tumblr themes are literally evil.

Oh god, that sounds awful! I even know a bit of HTML, and even then I think it's a real bitch to do anything at all. Good thing it turned out great though! C:

I agree with you about the theme designers! I can't even imagine how much time and frustration it must take to design a theme from scratch.
