If you duck up in an anon post...you just ignore it. You know what you meant and that all the criticism is based on something you didn't mean and is thus irrelevant.

I don't know, I think your posts are a good thing insofar as they do encourage people to post more logged in. I don't think they're a problem, unless it's particularly frustrating for you personally or something. I wouldn't worry about it.

WRT revealing personal stuff, I think for me, it almost feels like if you're anonymous, it's not you. It's just another anonymous person on the Internet revealing this stuff. It's easier to keep it in stride. I don't think that's a rational point of view but for whatever reason, that seems to be how it is. Just different methods of weirdness I guess.

I agree that it sucks when an anon is trolling or manipulating or things like that. I guess I just feel like that falls more into the category of people being assholes, rather than a structural problem of the system.

I don't know. I like the combination of logged-in and anonymous posting. It's comfortable. It's definitely a different dynamic than either fully anonymous or fully logged in, and I think they all have their advantages.
