Yea, that's true. I read incest fic occasionally but I know how much a no no it is for some people and think it should always be tagged. You shouldn't include something as squicky as incest in a fic without giving the reader warning.

Emailing the author was perfectly reasonable in this situation. (And it doesn't sound like you were hostile to them or anything, so good on you for being calm and rational.)

So...yea, I do get you. If something is triggery needing time to cool down or get your mind off it is perfectly normal, but if it's just the case of 'this pairing is stupid'...that's a bit of an overreaction.

I'm sure there are situations where people have legitimate reasons to be upset, though.
